Half Bad- Sally Green

This is a book about a boy stuck in a society of white witches when he is half white half black so he is a outcast. The story is of him choosing his path with much interference by the white witch council. It is not for the faint hearted.
I loved this book. Parts of it are written in the second person and I found that really interesting. I wasn't sure about it at first but I tried it and towards the end I was reading over a hundred pages of this a night. It is such an amazing story that I would recommend to any older readers that enjoy young-adult books. The chapters are also very short so it's very easy to read and I loved that.

One Moment- Kristina McBride

This is a story about a girl called Maggie who is suffering from amnesia after witnessing her boyfriend die. The story is about her trying to gain back her memories from that day and her whole friend group who also witnessed the tragedy moving on from it and not losing each other in the process.

I loved this story I thought it was beautifully written and I could have read it in one sitting it is just so exciting and unpredictable. Maggie is a great character who tries to do the best for everyone and I love that in a character. The setting and the story is totally believable and I just loved reading it.

Code Name Verity- Elizabeth Wein

Code Name Verity is a story about two girls who go by different names throughout the novel. The first half of the story is written by a girl being held and tortured as a prisoner of war in ww2. She was captured after she had to parachute out of the plane her best friend was piloting. The other half of the story is written by her best friend who is believed to be dead searching and hoping that her best friend is still alive.
I thought this book was brilliant. Truly horrifying and horrendous, but that all made up the great story line Wein has created. It was very hard to anticipate the ending and at one point it actually had me in tears. It was completely believable Wein has obviously done her research and that made it so much better. The characters were created so well and the way the story was actually told was brilliant. Definitely worth reading I would read another one of Wein's books.

Introduction

I am a book enthusiast, I talk about books a lot and thought I might as well put that to good use. I am a fan of Fantasy, YA, Romance, Thriller, Historical and Comedy books mainly but I will give any fiction book a read if someone recommends it to me. I have a weakness for pretty book covers and will often buy a book just because I liked the cover. Some of my favourite authors are John Green, J.K Rowling, Cassandra Clare, Stephanie Meyer, Ally Carter, Non Pratt, Betsy Byars and Veronica Roth. Although that is only a small fraction of the authors I love (it would take way to long to write them all down). I am not a big fan of poetry because I just think it's too short and the rhyming annoys me. Overall I massively enjoy reading and want to share that with as many people as I can.
