The Knife of Never Letting Go-Patrick Ness

This book is about a boy called Todd who lives in a world where all the men can hear each others thoughts. He is lead to believe there are no women on the planet because the 'noise' killed them like a disease. But his whole life changes when he come across a spot of complete silence. Which is impossible.

I read this book recently after being told by a lot of the people I asked that it was hard to read and boring. However I was really presently surprised. It is unbelievably original and the characters are so easy to fall in love with. I have read another of Patrick  Ness' books called 'More Than This' and although I did enjoy it this book is so much better. If you enjoyed 'More Than This' you will love this book even more. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Every Day- David Levithan
This books is about  a person called A who wakes up in a different body every day its been like that ever since he was born. He can access their memories so he does his best to not mess anything up in the day he is their host. This all changes when you throw a girl in to the equation, and a psych 15 year old who thinks he was possessed by the devil.
This book was utterly brilliant. Levithan is such a brilliant writer I've read another of his books and he's so great at making you want to read more and more until you realise it's 4 am in the morning, haha. I would recommend this to older teenagers or adults it's such a brilliant and original story I'm sure I'll read it again and again.

The Da Vinci Code- Dan Brown
This is a book about a man called Robert Langdon who get a call in the middle of the night telling him the man he was going to meet the day after had died in the middle of the night. Brutally murdered. The story is about who killed Robert and what his dying words were.
I really enjoyed this book. It took me a long time to get in to but I really did enjoy it. I wasn't sure I would since I'm not normally a fan of murder mysteries but this book has made me give them a second chance.

Henry's Sisters- Cathy Lamb
This book is about three sisters who have chosen to live very different lives very far away from each other because of unspeakable things that happened to them in their childhood. Until one day they all receive a letter asking them to come back home and work in their old bakery because their mother is going in for heart surgery so wont be their to look after their brother who has a disability and their grandma who has dementia and thinks she is Amelia Earhart.
This book was such a tear jerker. I just couldn't stop crying it is so tragic. But it is also funny and so well crafted it could not have been more believable. Lamb manages to get across all the different things people have to go through in one messed up family. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys sad stories and doesn't mind crying every few chapters.
Wait For You- J Lynn
This is a book about a girl starting university and meeting a boy typical romance type book, but their relationship definitely takes some twists and turns. It is quite heart breaking actually. She also has a hidden secret as to why she moved so far away from her family. I don't want to write anymore as I don't want to give away the story.

This book was just great, the more I read the more I had to read. It was just funny and sad and scary and romantic all at the same time. It does have a few sexual parts to this book though so I would not recommend this to younger readers as they may find it a bit awkward. I actually picked up this book because of its beautiful cover and it definitely lived up to my expectation.

Infinite Sky- C.J. Flood

This book is about an average girl who lives on a farm. A family of travellers move in to their paddock this girl is completely obsessed with them and it is the story of how she discovers more about new people. Also that she shouldn't just trust anyone.
I thought this book was okay towards the end it was great and totally unpredictable. The main character was sweet but I found her hard to relate to as she is so different to myself. Definitely one for younger readers.

The Maze Runner- James Dashner

This is a book about a boy who wakes up inside a box and doesn't remember anything about himself other than his name. He is brought up in this box into a weird world called the glade that rotates round a large maze the "gladers" have been trying to find the way out. Thomas has to adapt to their lifestyle and try to GET OUT!
This book is amazing I loved every moment and I can't wait for the film to come out I'm so excited. It is such a beautiful story and I am going to buy the next book shortly. Thomas the main character is beautifully created he is the hero of the story. The whole story is unpredictable and towards the end I physically could not put it down it was so brilliant!
